  • Track record of building successful businesses with international blue chip corporations such as McKinsey & Company, CSFB, and Merrill Lynch
  • Deep knowledge of post-conflict environments and wide networks and experience in Afghanistan through involvement in Afghan reconstruction since 2002
  • Professional experience relevant to the hands-on approach of post-conflict venture capital investing, including private equity, management consulting, operations, finance and accounting and familiarity with conflict and post-conflict economies
  • Support from Actis, a leading private equity investor in emerging markets with 57 years of experience and investments in many businesses in a wide range of industries, in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
